Poverty is still a scourge for the Indonesian nation because poverty is still high despite all efforts that have been made to solve the problem. In September 2022, the population of the poor in Indonesia reached 9.57% meant a 0.03% increase in March 2022 (Indonesian Statistics Center, 2023). In that year, Indonesia even entered 100 poorest countries in the world based on Finance Magazine and World Population Review data. In dealing with this, the government has made a change in the Biconic Reform (RB) from RB General to RB Tematic. The Temporal RB aims to solve problems at downstream levels to accelerate national development agenda through the acceleration of national issues, one of which is poverty issues. The government has had three goals to achieve the goal of the decline of poverty rate covering the loss of the burden of the poor, increasing the income and capacity of the poor, and minimizing the poverty pocket area. In this writing, writers also give a policy recommendation for various agencies at the central and regional levels responsible for the containment program in Indonesia.
