Indonesia still faces the gap between real food potential in society. It's a combination of internal factors such as management, fractional policy, value weaknesses plus supply chains, post-harvest infrastructure, and external factors such as climate change, the price of global commodity, global supply chain disorder, to the pressure of commodity. In recent decades, there has been such a huge policy Food estate, market intervention, mass-food aid program, which on one hand potentially strengthens the supply, but on the other hand shows the problem of implementation, coordination and environmental impacts or short-term supply, such as the 2022 oil crisis, food import policy repeated, to the issue Food estate became the latest empirical evidence in showing the need to focus on closing the institutional gap and handling structural problems such as land conversion and losing the crops.
