This study goes from the problems of still minimal female role in managing three travel villages in Poncokusumo Juvenile, the unfortunate district of Poncokusumo, the village of Poncokusumo, the village of the Toutana Gubugglkah, and the village of Adata Adadas. This condition is not regardless of the powerful patriarchy culture that still affects the structure and practices of village travel, so the female role tends to be marginalized in the process of decision-making or strategic management. In fact, women have significant potential and contributions in supporting continued community-based tourism management.

This research aims to identify Capital symbolic that women have in tour village management, as well as reviewing how that symbolic capital can become a strategic resource in driving women leadership. Symbolic Capital In this context it includes the social values, culture, experience and legitimacy that women have and are recognized by the community, potentially strengthening their position in the tour village structure.

In addition, this research is also trying to build a characterization women leadership based Capital symbolic Women, so it can formulate female leadership models that are contextual and relevant to local dynamics. With this approach, it is expected to be found a gender influences strategy that is not only normal, but also based on the social forces that women have in communities.

The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with setting field, through data gathering techniques is a deep interview and the Focus Group Discussion with women involved in tour village management. The results of this study are expected to contribute theoretically in the development of female leadership studies and governance community-based, as well as practical recommendations in encouraging a more exclusive and gender justice tour village management.
