This project aims to analyze the digital transformation process in government administration and bureaucratic systems in Indonesia. Along with the development of information technology, the Indonesian government seeks to integrate digital solutions in various aspects of public administration to improve efficiency, transparency and accountability in government management. These digital transformations are also expected to accelerate public services and improve interactions between government and society. However, the main challenge faced is resistance to change in existing bureaucratic structures, as well as the lack of access to interstate technology.
The background of this project focuses on how digital technology can be applied to improve the quality of government administration in Indonesia, especially in terms of the bureaucratic processes that are often slow and inefficient. With technology adoption such as e- government, digital-based data management systems, as well as online platform usage, it is expected to create a more responsive and open government. However, the success of this transformation depends on the readiness of state apparatus, technology infrastructure, and policy that supports digital integration evenly.
The primary purpose of this project is to evaluate the extent of which digital transformation has been applied in government administration in Indonesia, and to identify the challenges and obstacles faced during the digitization process. This project also aims to give a recommendation for the increase in digital-based bureaucratic management, which can optimize public services and improve the government system overall.
The expected impact of this project is created by a more efficient, transparent, accountable administration system in Indonesia. With digital transformations successful, governments can provide faster, cheaper, more accessible public services to society, which in turn will increase public confidence towards government.
