This project aims to formulate effective strategies in increasing accountability and performance management in the Pamekasan County Government. In terms of local government, optimal accountability and performance are very important to ensure that public budgets are used efficiently and that the outcome of policy really has a positive impact on society. Pamekasan district, as part of the developing local government, faces various challenges in terms of transparency, operational effectiveness, and sustainable performance management.
The background of this project focuses on increasing government management qualities in Pamekasan, especially in terms of budget management accountability and government apparatus performance. Various factors such as lack of obvious performance measurements systems, lack of coordination between institutions, and the limitation of trained human resources, can delay the maximum result in public services. Therefore, this project aims to design and implement policy and better performance management systems and more structured at the local government level.
The primary purpose of this project is to identify areas that need to be improved in accounting and performance management in Palecasan, as well as formulating strategies that can strengthen the mechanism of surveillance, evaluation and reporting. This project will also focus on increasing the state's apparatus capacity in terms of understanding the importance of accountability and performance based on results.
The expected impact of this project is the increase in transparency and efficiency in regional budget management, as well as the quality of public service given to society. With better performance management, the Pamekasan County Government is expected to achieve a more measured, sustainable, more beneficial area development goal for its citizens.
