The project aims to design the increased strategy of the accountability of government agencies in the City of Misery. A good performance accountability is very important to ensure that the government agencies are responsible for the use of public budget and services given to the public. However, in practice, many government agencies are still facing challenges in terms of measurement, evaluation and transparent performance reporting. Therefore, it is required to repair the accountability system to be more effective and appropriate to build cities.
The background of this project focuses on the poor city needs to strengthen the performance accountability system, especially in budget management and government programs. Although there's been various regulations underlying the accountability system, the implementation is often hampered by various obstacles, such as lack of resources, a weak surveillance system, and the lack of community participation in government performance evaluations.
The main purpose of this project is to identify and design strategies that can increase performance accountability in the poor city government agency. This includes strengthening the evaluation mechanism and reporting performance, repair internal surveillance systems, as well as increasing public participation in accountability processes. This project also intends to give a recommendation regarding the increased quality of performance reports and transparency in budget management.
The expected impact of this project is a more transparent and accountable government creation, with a performance that can be held accountable to society. Through increasing accountability systems, it is expected that the Poor City Government can increase the efficiency of budget use, improve public service, and achieve more measured and sustainable development goals.
