The project aims to strengthen local economy through digital business empowerment during the Covid-19 pandemic. The pandemic has caused major problems in the local economy, especially for small and medium venture sectors, which are the backbone of the economy in many areas. The social restrictions and the loss of people's purchasing power caused a lot of local businesses to survive, so it took innovative strategies to help them keep going.

The background of this project is an urgent need to divert business from conventional models that are inhibited by physical restrictions, towards more adaptive digital business models. Digital business empowerment not only allows entrepreneurs to stay operational, but also helps them expand the market, improve operational efficiency, and reach consumers through an increasingly popular online platform.

The primary purpose of this project is to provide training, technology access, and guidance to UKM users so that they can use digital platforms to improve their business survival and sustainability. In addition, this project also aims to accelerate the local economic recovery process by increasing its accessibility and digital incubation for the pandemic sector.

The expected impact of this project is the increase in local economic capacity through digital technology adoption, the market expansion for the UKM, and the strengthening of regional economy as a whole. With the empowerment of digital businesses, local businesses can not only survive in pandemic, but also thrive in the increasingly digital global economic challenges.
