This project aims to do a grouping of areas in the City of Malang based on the potential areas and social-support infrastructure of economies, which can be the basis for the development of local policy. The city of Malang, as one of the great cities of Indonesia, has a diversity in terms of potential areas and social economic conditions. These clusters aim to map areas that have great potential to develop and identify infrastructure needs that support social and economic activity in each region.
The background of this project focuses on the challenges of the Poor City government in designing fair and square development policies. Each region in the City of Malang has a different characteristic and potential, both from economic, social and infrastructure. Therefore, it's important to do a grouping that can map the potential and needs of any area, so that the policies that are generated are more precise targets and effective in increasing the well-being of society.
The whole point of this project is to identify factors-- factors that distinguish the potential of the region and the social infrastructure of the city of Malang, as well as group areas based on characteristics. This project also aims to produce policy recommendations that can optimize territory potential and improve infrastructure shortages in areas that need it.
The expected impact of this project is the creation of a more direct and based development policy based on accurate data about local potential and needs. With the right grouping, the City of Malang government can be more effective in planning development, improving the quality of tools and infrastructure, and supporting the unification of public well-being around the city.
