This project aims to explore and develop a conceptual model of Public-Private-Private Partners / PPP, as a strategy to encourage the development of local tourism. Local tourism has great potential in improving the local economy, but it often faces challenges in terms of financing, infrastructure, and efficient management. Therefore, collaboration between the public and private sector is considered important to overcome these obstacles and create mutually beneficial solutions.

The background of this project is a need to optimize the potential for regional tourism through a more structured and collaborative approach. Local tourism development is not only dependent on the efforts of the local government, but it also needs the support of the private sector that has the capacity for investment, innovation and resource management. Through PPP, both can synergy to design and embody sustainable tourism initiative and positive impact.

The primary purpose of this project is to formulate a conceptual PPP model that can be implemented in the development of local tourist destinations. The project also aims to identify the benefits and challenges faced by these two sectors of cooperation, as well as design the obvious and efficient mechanism for collaboration.

The expected impact of this project is the creation of a framework that can help improve investment in local tourism sectors, repair infrastructure and services, and also strengthen the power of local tourist destinations. With successful partnerships between the public and private sector, local tourism is expected to grow faster and more sustainable, bringing significant economic benefits to communities and areas.
