This project aims to explore and develop a conceptual model of Private Publicity (Publican -Private Partners / PPP) in context of local tourism development. Local tourism sector holds an important role in the local economy, but it is often constrained by effective resource, funding and management limitations. Therefore, collaboration between the public and private sector becomes the key to creating sustainable and mutually beneficial solutions.

The background of this project focuses on the challenges facing by the local government in developing local tourism, as well as how the private sector can contribute significantly through investment, technology and efficient management. This partnership aims to create a more integrated and rapidly-growing tourism ecosystem, with regard to sustainability and social-economic impact positive for society.

The primary purpose of this project is to formulate a conceptual PPP model that can be implemented in the development of local tourist destinations. This model is expected to answer the challenges that exist by providing understanding of the role, responsibility, and mechanism of cooperation between the public and private sector.

The expected impact of this project is the creation of a partnership framework that can push investment in tourism sectors, improve the quality of infrastructure and travel services, and also strengthen the power of local design design. With the application of effective PPP models, the development of local tourism can contribute a great deal to the local economy and increase the well-being of local people.
