This project aims to develop and evaluate the use of audiovisual media in interactive economic learning, by focusing on the study of sales rate cases. Media audiovisual as a learning tool has great potential to increase student understanding of concepts that are often complex, like sales ratio. Through the use of graphs, animations and videos, the material that is delivered becomes more interesting and easy to understand, so it can increase student engagement in learning.
The background of this project focuses on the importance of effective teaching in the economy, especially for students who study financial and management analysis. Sales ratio is one of the main concepts in economics and finance that are used to evaluate corporate performance, but often difficult to understand by new students who know this topic. Therefore, the applications of audiovisual media in learning can help simplify material and make it easier for students to master that concept.
The purpose of this project is to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of audiovisual media in economic learning, especially in topics of sales ratio, and to measure its impact on student analytical understanding and skills. The project also aims to provide guidance on how to integrate audiovisual media optimistically in economic learning curriculum.
The expected impact of this project is an increase in the quality of more interactive and exciting economic learning, which can help students better understand the concepts of economics in a more fun and understandable way. With the right media, it is expected that students can quickly master complex topics and can apply their knowledge in real world context, as in sales ratio analysis.
