The project aims to analyze the country's tax potential in the Pamekasan District, with its focus on the identification of the optimal tax source income sources to increase regional acceptance. County taxes are one of the major revenue sources for local governments to finance the development and public services. Therefore, it's important for local governments to understand the tax potential and design effective management strategies.
The background of this project deals with the importance of a profound understanding of the tax potential of the area which has not yet been fully dug up. Some of the economic sectors in the Pamekasan District, such as agriculture, trade, and tourism, have great potential in contributing to local tax admissions. However, challenges such as lack of efficient collection systems, ignorance of the public's tax obligation, and the limitation of human resources in taxes need to be overcome.
The primary purpose of this project is to identify and analyze the potential tax revenue in the Pamekasan District, as well as design policy recommendations and strategies to optimize tax collection. This project also aims to give you a better understanding of the potential in sectors that have been underutilized.
The expected impact of this project is an increase in the efficiency of local tax management, which will ultimately contribute to the increase in regional acceptance. With more optimal tax management, the Pamekasan district is expected to accelerate the development of the area, improve public service quality, and achieve sustainable development goals.
