This project aims to analyze the performance of government agencies in the Ngwi District, with focus on effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation of programs and policy of the local government. The proper performance measurements are very important to assess whether a government agency has achieved its set goals and how it affects public services. In the Angawi District, performance measurements are still facing many challenges, such as resource limitations, unoptimal evaluation systems, and lack of transparency in performance reporting.

The background of this project focuses on the importance of having an accurate and measurable performance-measuring system to ensure that government agencies can improve the quality of public service and support the development of the area. Effective measurement system will not only help increase the accountability of government agencies, but also provide the basis for sustainable improvement in the process of decision-making and policy planning.

The primary purpose of this project is to assess the extent of which performance-measuring systems applied in the Ngwi District can describe the performance of government agencies well. This project will also evaluate indicators that are used in performance measurements and identify areas that need to be repaired to improve governance effectiveness.

The expected impact of this project is an increase in accountability and transparency in government performance management in the Wakwi District. With better performance measuring systems, local governments can increase public service, maximize budget use, as well as achieve more measured and sustainable development goals.
